Rachel Ibarra is the owner of NozNewz Communications, Inc., a media and public relations consulting company and the executive director of Nature Speaks, a series of spiritual workshops in nature.

After a 20-year career in public relations with a background in journalism, law enforcement and politics, NozNewz Communications is currently managing public relations for various clients as well as for Nature Speaks.

Rachel worked as a newspaper reporter in the Los Angeles area for 10 years covering the 1992 LA riots and LA City Council during the two Rodney King trials. She was the first consultant to be hired by the Los Angeles Police Protective League, the union which represents Los Angeles Police Officers. She directed the media campaign for the Los Angeles Protective League’s contract dispute with the City of Los Angeles which, culminated in the first blue flu (strike) in the history of the Los Angeles Police Department and the first march of LAPD Officers on City Hall.
