Mary Canane, LMHC

Mary Canane is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has a private psychotherapy practice in Loxahatchee, FL, located in Palm Beach County, west of West Palm Beach.

She sees individuals ( ages 10 to adult ), couples and families and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, relationship issues, grief/loss, anger and stress management, eating disorders and communication / assertiveness skills.

Mary received her BS degree in Psychology, in 1979, from Worcester State College in Massachusetts. She moved to Florida right after graduation and began her career with the State of Florida. She then obtained a MS degree from Nova University in 1984 in Counseling Psychology.

Mary worked in several community agencies before establishing a private practice in 1997. She became a Certified Hypnotherapist in 1992 and a Radical Forgiveness Practitioner in 2000, and is a graduate of LandMark Forum. Mary has put more of a focus on spiritual practices and learned to read the Akashic Records in 2005 and became a Reiki Master in 2009.
